Shouldn't be blogging now and worst, these sort of feelings but somehow, I need an outlet too..
Spoken to some people but I still don't get an answer I'm happy with.
It's almost 3 months since my first relationship started; there were ups & downs, but I guess the honeymoon period is really over - I'm starting to feel crappy..
And also unsure about this whole thing because I don't seem to be happy. In fact, I'm more troubled now. It's ok if you're far from my ideal guy (and it does changes as I grow older) but somehow, the more you try, the more you're inching away from being one - and I can clearly see that.
The problem is, I don't wanna let go. I know it is not right to lead him on but I'm hoping things would change and maybe I will still grow to like him more. He's sweet and all but he seems to immature for me & I really feel like a psychologist. Sighs.. Well, the real problem lies where my heart is occupied with someone else.
He's totally not my ideal guy but he seems to be now.
1. Strong Christian
2. Does trains with me
3. Funny yet mature
4. Not that good-looking but not bad either
5. Communicate well
6. Stays near me
7. I just simply like spending time with him - wishing train rides were longer & all
OH DEAR. :(

Nearing the End ...
It's the end of Week 8 already of my final final sem in NUS :((((
I really feel like I haven't experienced school life to the max yet though; despite joining 3 school teams, 1 winter exchange programme, 2 overseas competition and 2 halls in the 4 years of my university life.
Sighs..I'm so not prepared for work life, which means no more free time to do what I want; planning my timetable based on training schedules - instead it would be the other way round.
The only good thing is that on weekends, no homework! cheers?
In 4days' time, I'll be heading to Adelaide, South Australia, with Leon for a short getaway; kinda exciting but the workload >.<
Oh wells, like what Baldwin likes to say, YOLO. hahahas..
A week later would be NUS Biathlon..Looking forward but I wished time would pass more slowly..Seems like time flies - when you're having fun and even when you're stressed :O

Lake Kenyir 2013 - Unforgettable experience
It was my first trip with the NUS Aquathlon team to Lake Kenyir, in the state of Terranganu, Malaysia, for a triathlon race. The 10h bus trip was no joke and if I had the money, I would probably choose to fly there (like Baldwin & Chen Peng). Well, most of the time was spent sleeping, tired after a mad rush from the Edusports Opening (where we were supposed to slack around the infinity pool) to Eunos MRT. A rather interesting experience to watch all the loading of bikes - one day - I will get one too!

Arrived the next day at Lake Kenyir Resort after the chilly bus ride..It was really beautiful and cooling but then again, the sun was merciless later in the afternoon. The whole day was spent indoors; most were playing card games and I was studying -__- Although I really wished they would do something more interesting like swim to the island (5k away like last year) but no :( We walked out to the race site though. Had the CARBO-LOADING dinner at night and whoa..it was no kidding; full of carbs..hahas..too much richness already and I had to remind myself, I'm not doing the full tri, only a 1.6k swim and 11k easy run to pace Chun Hui, which is like any other training day - a serious mistake many weekend warriors make, eating more than what they would burnt, rendering whatever they do useless. Baldwin & CP came late at night but netter late than never & yea, they really brought much needed entertainment (mostly for me :P)

Race day came really quickly and we got up at 630 to get ready.Wasn't feeling as tense as I normally was for a run/aquathlon race but I was hoping to win something. Sadly, although Baldwin (the god) managed to chase down 4 teams, we only got 4th :( I felt like I might have let them down (not fully my fault but..) Well, it was a good experience but I'm not sure if I would wanna do that again..Maybe when I get a bike and have more income..hahahs..

Most memorable birthday ever :)
Had a baking session with Patrick, Bee, Clara, Joseph, Yannick, Edmund, Eugene & Bhavesh to bake apple crumble, macarons (failed) & baked raspberry cheesecake..It was damn fun & they sang 3 birthday songs for me each time we finish a cake! hahahas ..
When I walked back, I saw Leon waiting for me at the bus stop with my birthday cake & present..I was really surprised because it was 1am already..but still it was really sweet of him to get me a raspberry mousse cheesecake <3 Then in my room, I saw Em & Minli's gift :) Although I slept at 3am, and woke up at 730am, I was really happy.
Leon & I went out to Raffles Hospital Coffee Bean for breakfast (had pancakes & oats) and headed to Orchard where Leon had to do some NZ exchange stuff..Thereafter, we went to Star Vista to Frunatic to buy my fave healthy & oh-so-ex fruit cakes ($6.60 for 3 >.< )
The next day during aquathlon brick training, the girls got me Starbucks tart & muffin! And the team sang me a birthday song :)
Yays..memorable birthday indeed!

V-Day Confessions
This is my first ever V-Day of the 22 years of my life..
Well, although it was like any other day, there's this chirpy happy lovey-dovey feeling inside of me that I can't help but feel as compared to the other 21 years of my life.
Who is he? Leon. 22years old, Year 2 Geog (GIS) Major.
How did I meet him? 2012 Wuhan Winter Exchange.
Why I love him? I really don't know.. It's indescribable.
Everything was as per normal; Leon and I still met to study at our usual place and I went for track intervals training. He picked me up at 8.30pm after training for dinner at a Little India restaurant..First thing first..He presented me with a lovely bouquet of 3 roses ( <3 )

| Sweet right :) |
We went to this restaurant, LAGNAA (No. 6 Upper Dickson Road) for dinner. Though there was a V-Day meal, it was awfully overpriced and too much for me to eat so we ordered ala-carte.The atmosphere was lovely with candles, we were seated on the 2nd floor and initially were all by ourselves till an angmoh couple came. Service was not too bad and food was good, although a little pricer, plus the 30% surcharge..
We ordered saffron rice, masala dory fish, spicy vegetables, mango lassi and pistachio kulfi (ice cream). Yums..
After dinner, we headed to Sentosa Tanjong Beach to relax and chill. Leon gave me a citigems heart necklace, it was really beautiful. Too bad that we couldn't just spend the night there and watch sunrise the next morning..

Chinese New Year Holidays
It's been both a busy and slack CNY weekend for me..quite different compared to other years somehow; probably because I was out on CNY eve and it kept raining throughout the few days, which made the dreary days pass very quickly.
On CNY eve, I kickstarted the day with Ang Bao training at ECP with the Aquathlon team - awfully fun :) We did some 1k (x8) relay around the Ski Park and some station workouts. I think most of my energy was spent laughing than training because during the relay I passed the oranges (supposed to pass 2 mandarin oranges and shout Gongxi facai) to Joshua (which wasn't in my relay group). LOLS.. Then, Leon and I went to MBS for lunch (we had yummy pitas) and thereafter Gardens By the Bay Cloud Forest. It was not bad although maybe not cheap for such a small area. Pretty flowers everywhere. Then for some reason, I was super tired at night, that I didn't even stay up to watch TV!
New Year Day came real quickly. Was supposed to go for first service but was too sleepy but still, I managed to sneak in a 10k run before heading to Grandpa's house. Wore my $20 pretty cheongsam :D
Nothing much went about at Ah Gong's place, not even talking to cousins. So sian... That's Day 1 for you.
On the 2nd day, sneaked another tempo 12k run with John at 7am :))) Then Leon came over to visit before taking me to Dempsey's Jones the Grocer for a nice breakfast. After that we took a walk around Botanic Gardens before heading over to his house for CNY visit. Seems like the day really passed very quickly and I found myself tired againnn.. Did nothing fruitful as well..
Oh well, looking forward to V-Day now, I guess!

Special Thursdays & hopefully..more to come!
Every Thursday, Leon & I will take time off our (or rather my) busy schedule to go out for a special dinner..Last week we went to Holland V to eat seafood pizza & then went over to West Coast Park to enjoy some night scene. This week, we tried Star Vista & went to Esspresoup. It was totally well-worth the money & the food was good :) I ordered tomato-veg soup ($9.30 with the bread bowl) while Leon got mushroom & cheese quesadillas ($9). Actually I think I will go back to Star Vista to eat again..The choices seems really good!
Looking forward to Chinese New Year, V-Day & my birthday :) It has been a great month together..
